Chopin’s Nose Award
This year’s Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival will once again hold a competition for the best music documentary. The winning film will receive the Chopin’s Nose Award and 1 000 euros. The winning film will be selected by a jury consisting of Misia Furtak, Bogna Świątkowska, Stach Szabłowski.

Misia Furtak
One of the most important personalities of Polish music over the last few years. She’s a singer, bassist, songwriter, and journalist, winner of the Paszport Polityki award for popular music, the Fryderyk award for best debut album of the year, and the Grzegorz Ciechowski award.
Bogna Świątkowska
The creator, founder and president of the management board of the Bęc Zmiana Foundation, with which she conducted several dozens of projects focusing on the public space, architecture and design as well as competitions for young architects and designers. The creator and publisher of the Poland-wide socio-cultural magazine “Notes.na.6.tygodni”. She was the chief editor of the first pop cultural monthly magazine “Machina” (1998-2001). The author of various texts, interviews, commentaries, radio and television programmes about the modern popular culture. A member of the Architecture and Public Space Board of Warsaw as well as the Team for the City’s Cultural Policies of the National Centre for Culture.
Stach Szabłowski
Curator, art critic and publicist. He graduated from the Arts History Institute at the University of Warsaw. Since 1998 he has been cooperating with the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle. He is an expert of the Polish Film Institute. He was the curator and producer of more than 50 exhibitions and artistic projects organised in Poland and abroad. He is the editor of various publications about art and the author of many texts. He publishes in exhibition catalogues, books about art as well as specialist magazines and mainstream press. He has published, among others, in the following newspapers and magazines: “Gazeta Wyborcza”, “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”, “Życie Warszawy”, “Architektura-Murator”, “Fluid”, “Machina” and “Newsweek”. He is currently cooperating on a regular basis with Dwutygodnik.com, the monthly “Zwierciadło”, Obieg.pl, Artpunkt and Art&Business.
