The call for submissions to the 14th Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival is now open. The festival will be held from the 12th till the 21st of May, 2017 in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdynia and over 20 cities around Poland.
Winner of The Mayor of Gdynia Award
For the first time Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival in cooperation with Gdyńskie Centrum Filmowe has also organized the Festival in Gdynia. A jury, consisting of: Katarzyna Figura (actress), Mikołaj Trzaska (saxophone player), Mirosław Przylipiak (film theorist) gave The Mayor of Gdynia Award to the film “Ukrainian Sheriffs”.

The full screening schedule and MY CALLENDAR application will be available on April 27th. The application allows users to make recommendations, create everyday projection program, filter films according to time, place of screenings, sections or competitions. Tickets available since May 6th!
Millennium Docs Against Gravity: The Local Edition
The festival’s motto is “Tear Yourself Away” – and that’s why we’re tearing away from downtown Warsaw, the site of the main part of the festival. Join us for the local edition of Millennium Docs Against Gravity during its first weekend, from May 13th to 15th!

Our fight against gravity continues! Just like in previous years, the Documentary Academy will prepare a content-rich program for diverse audiences. The 13th edition of the MILLENNIUM DOCS AGAINST GRAVITY film festival will take place from May 13th to 25th 2016. This year, Warsaw, Wrocław and Bydgoszcz are joined by Tricity, with the modern Gdynia Film Centre. In keeping with our tradition, on the second weekend of the festival, we will also be in 20 other cities around Poland, as part of the MDocsAG Weekend.
